Realtors show they care

The real estate industry has a long history of helping the communities they serve and this time of year is often the time that campaigns are started and donations made. Colliers Calgary has just made a $10,000 donation to the city’s food bank after deciding to help those in need rather than host the annual Real Estate Forum Dinner. Meanwhile the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver will launch its 21st annual Realtors Blanket Drive next Monday (Nov. 16). The campaign generally provides around 19,000 needy people in the Lower Mainland with blankets and warm winter clothing. A hundred real estate offices will act as collection points across the city.
