Appraisal Institute welcomes CETA signing

The signing of CETA by Canada and the European Union will have positive benefits for the real estate sector according to the Appraisal Institute of Canada.

Along with its European counterpart, the AIC says that CETA will enhance the two associations’ existing agreement which helps develop and maintain standards in the industry to ensure quality real estate valuations.

Canadian appraisers holding the designations “Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute” (AACI™) and the “Canadian Residential Appraiser” (CRA™) - are recognized on par with their European counterparts’ designations.
